Beautiful ‘vaqueira’ route that starts in Tuiza, in Teverga, providing access from the Carretera de San Martín to the Port of San Lorenzo.

Its name refers to the ‘vaqueros’ (cowboys) who practised transhumance, taking the cattle up to graze from spring to autumn.

Ancient ‘brañas' have been preserved – this is where shepherds and animals would have lived together.
